Scope of this policy
This policy covers the information handled when you browse otherhalfe.com, create an account, or exchange messages with an OtherHalf AI companion. It does not cover third-party sites you reach from our links.
Information you give us
This includes the email address used to register, any display name you choose, and the content of the messages you send inside a chat with an OtherHalf AI companion.
Information collected automatically
When you load a page we record standard technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device category, referring page and the time of the request.
Cookies and similar files
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember interface choices and measure aggregate traffic. Blocking them in your browser will not prevent you from reading the public pages.

International transfers

Deleting a conversation
You can delete any individual thread from inside the chat interface. Deleted threads are removed from live systems immediately and from encrypted backups within thirty days.
Closing your account
Closing your OtherHalf AI account removes your profile and message history on the same schedule as above, apart from records we must retain for accounting or legal reasons.
Your access rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, in a portable format, free of charge once in any twelve-month period.
Correcting your data
If something we hold about you is wrong or out of date, you can correct it in your account settings or ask us to correct it for you.
Objecting and restricting
Where our processing rests on legitimate interests, you may object to it. You may also ask us to restrict processing while a dispute about accuracy is resolved.
Withdrawing consent
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect anything done lawfully before the withdrawal.
Marketing messages
We only send promotional email if you opted in. Every such email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your access to the service.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone.
Security measures
